It is Worth Your Money

__

For some, money is not an issue because they are born with silver spoons in their mouths.  They are people who do not care if they spend too much since they know that they will always have money.  It is okay to buy expensive waiting room toy and brag it to others.  For those who are not so fortunate to have lots of money, it is okay too to settle for cheap toys.  At least your kid still has that smile in his face knowing that he will be getting a toy.  Other kids are contented with what they have, but there are still those that want more.

The best thing to do is to explain to your child why having one waiting room toy is enough for now.  You can assure him that he will get more toys once you have some spare money for it.  Make him realize that there are more things in your priority list.  Buying the toy that he wants is not on the top but you know that he will be happier if you give him another one.  Tell this to him in such a way that you would not hurt his feelings.  Children have that tendency to get what they want to have and not think about the others.  It may take some time for him to understand this.

Another great idea is to teach him how to save money.  Inspiring him to save some money from his school allowance can help him buy that waiting room toy that he always wanted.  This way, at an early age, he will know the value of money.  As they say, every cent counts because without it, the higher bills are useless.  The little things are important because they pave the way for the bigger things to come about.

If your child is having a hard time saving, make a deal with him that you will pay half the price of the waiting room toy that he likes.  He might persevere in saving up for that toy that he so loves to have.  He may start saving with just a few coins and try to restrain him from using the money.  If he likes, you can hold the money for him and give it to him when the right time comes.  When his money is in your hands, he would not get tempted in using the money to buy other things.

Hard-earned money is better than getting easy money.  People say that the money that they get from working hard makes them realizes even more that everything that they will be buying should be all worth it.  One waiting room toy is okay at the moment and then start to purchase more when you have saved enough money.  Knowing that the money used in buying it is special because it came out from your pocket that is something to be proud.  At least you can tell yourself that you can buy things as long as you learn how to save money.
